The rhetoric follows the victory of Jan Suraaj Party president Prashant Kishor, who defeated BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar by 19,324 votes in Bankipur. While the BJP acknowledged the result, Subhash insisted that their party maintains a consistent stance, respecting voter mandates regardless of the outcome. The political fallout extended beyond Bihar, with contrasting results in other regions: Congress candidate Ghanshyam Singh secured a 6,016-vote lead in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, while BJP’s Satendrabhai Patel captured the Majalpur seat in Gujarat with a significant margin of 30,630 votes.
