Samajwadi Party representatives, including Dharmendra Yadav and Rajeev Rai, argued that these grievances remain ignored despite repeated requests for parliamentary debate and the filing of non-adjournment motions. Rai characterized the administration’s response as an attempt to evade accountability, claiming that established legislative procedures are being sidelined to avoid addressing urgent national concerns. He further criticized the Home Minister for failing to address the House despite his regular presence on the parliamentary premises.
While the Opposition pushed for these discussions, the government focused on its legislative schedule. The Committee allocated three hours for the Indian Statistical Institute Bill, 2026, and the Bankers' Books Evidence Bill, 2026, alongside five hours for the Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026. Notably, the FCRA Bill was excluded from the business list for the current week.
