In the city of Engels, a strike on a residential building claimed two lives, according to Governor Roman Busargin. The incident caused damage to civil infrastructure in both Engels and the neighboring city of Saratov, a region known for hosting a major oil refinery and a key military airbase.

Kyiv has intensified its focus on Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer, targeting roughly a dozen of its sites since July 18. Samara Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev confirmed that a facility in his region was hit, triggering a fire that emergency crews worked to extinguish. Although Russia's Defence Ministry claimed to have downed 635 drones throughout the night, reports from regional officials suggest significant reach, including an attempted strike on industrial sites in Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan. Governor Radiy Khabirov stated that air defense units intercepted these drones, though one incident resulted in a fire within an industrial zone.
