During his visit to Sierra Leone, Kamara inspected the rehabilitated Babadorie Raw Water Storage Facility. The $7.79 million investment more than doubled the city’s storage capacity to 132,000 cubic metres, providing reliable water access for 90,000 residents. Local officials and community leaders have credited the upgrade with significantly alleviating chronic dry-season shortages, marking a practical success in the bank’s broader regional strategy.
