Iran Rules Out Imminent Diplomatic Talks with Washington

Tehran has officially dismissed the possibility of upcoming negotiations with the United States, citing a lack of any such agenda in the foreseeable future. Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, clarified on Monday that current diplomatic movements in the region remain entirely independent of American interests.

The government’s primary focus remains fixed on the practical execution of existing agreements rather than pursuing new diplomatic channels. While an Iranian delegation is scheduled to visit Qatar, officials insist the trip carries no connection to U.S. regional activities or potential back-channel discussions.

Tehran continues to prioritize the fulfillment of the Memorandum of Understanding as the prerequisite for any broader settlement. According to Baghaei, Iran’s current policy framework keeps immediate engagement with Washington off the table, concentrating instead on established regional priorities.
