In Dnipro alone, five lives were lost and 29 people were wounded, regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha confirmed via Telegram. The bombardment of civilian infrastructure prompted President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to issue an urgent appeal to European leaders, demanding a rapid increase in the delivery of advanced anti-ballistic defense systems to protect urban populations.
The attacks extended beyond Dnipro, with reports of civilian casualties mounting in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv. As the death toll rises, the international community faces growing pressure to address the cycle of violence. Both Moscow and Kyiv continue to trade accusations regarding the targeting of non-combatants, further deepening the diplomatic rift as the war shows no signs of abating.
