In Zaporizhzhia, regional governor Ivan Fedorov confirmed two fatalities and 16 injuries following a series of strikes that left parts of the city in flames. Visual evidence shared by local officials revealed significant infrastructure damage and residential destruction, forcing survivors into immediate displacement.
The violence extended to the northeastern Kharkiv region, where a missile hit the town of Zmiiv. Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported that the blast killed one person and wounded eight, including two children. A police officer was also killed while participating in an evacuation operation in the area, marking a grim outcome for those attempting to assist civilians under fire.
