In the Russian capital, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed that air defenses neutralized roughly 24 drones aimed at the city. Meanwhile, the violence rippled across the border into Ukraine, where the Dnipropetrovsk region endured a relentless wave of more than 40 artillery and drone strikes. Near Nikopol, these attacks resulted in one death and multiple injuries.

The situation remains particularly acute in the Donetsk region. Denis Pushilin, the Moscow-appointed administrator, reported further fatalities across several major towns, attributing the casualties directly to Ukrainian drone operations.
