Russian Drone Barrage Kills Three in Southeastern Ukraine

Two passengers perished inside a minibus in the Dnipropetrovsk region while another civilian died near the border in Sumy, as a fresh wave of Russian drone strikes battered southeastern Ukraine. Local officials confirmed the attacks, which also left at least a dozen people wounded across the targeted areas.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha reported that the strike on a minibus resulted in two fatalities and 12 injuries, including two children. The town of Nikopol, positioned dangerously close to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, continues to face near-constant bombardment.

Simultaneously, the Sumy region suffered its own losses, with regional governor Oleh Hryhorov confirming a death outside the main administrative center. In nearby Zaporizhzhia, governor Mikhail Fedorov documented extensive property damage and additional casualties resulting from the sustained aerial campaign against civilian infrastructure.
