The controversy centers on a video that allegedly depicts the Chief Minister in a compromised state. Mann dismissed the footage as a digital fabrication, citing forensic analysis that confirms the inconsistencies in appearance and mannerisms. Gurugram Police have since intervened, arresting two individuals, Ankit and Arun, on charges of creating and spreading the counterfeit content. ACP Naveen Sharma confirmed the arrests following a formal complaint, amid reports that the suspects were allegedly paid Rs 10 lakh to sustain the deception.
While opposition leaders continue to demand his resignation, Mann maintains that these tactics are a desperate response to his administration’s focus on electricity, housing, and healthcare reforms. He has urged the public to scrutinize the legitimacy of the circulating claims, suggesting that the pressure applied to forensic experts serves as proof of a broader, coordinated effort to undermine his governance.
