Addressing the media in Shimla, Sukhu claimed that paper leaks were a hallmark of the previous BJP administration, citing the Hamirpur Staff Selection Commission and police recruitment scandals as evidence that forced his government to dissolve the commission. To mitigate the burden on current students, his government is providing free travel to NEET candidates via Himachal Road Transport Corporation buses, ensuring accessibility to testing centers.

Beyond education, Sukhu signaled a firm stance on the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB), asserting that Himachal Pradesh is entitled to a 7.19 percent share as recognized by the Supreme Court. He is currently engaging with Punjab, Rajasthan, and Haryana to formalize this claim, urging the latter to file a supporting affidavit. Regarding the looming monsoon, the Chief Minister stated that authorities have been instructed to remain on high alert, emphasizing that the state has prioritized rapid emergency response and infrastructure resilience based on lessons learned from past disaster relief efforts.
