Israeli strikes kill five in southern Lebanon despite ceasefire

Israeli warplanes and drones maintained a sustained aerial campaign across the Nabatieh area throughout the overnight hours and into the morning. According to Lebanon’s state news agency NNA, the strikes leveled residential buildings and homes across the district. Alongside the air campaign, Israeli artillery units shelled the outskirts of Nabatieh before dawn, complicating the implementation of the newly agreed-upon truce.
