Pilot criticized the BJP's response to the crisis, claiming the government is rattled by scrutiny from Rahul Gandhi rather than addressing the root causes of exam instability. He pointed to a pattern of irregularities spanning multiple boards, including the CBSE, and called for a rigorous examination of the role private institutions play in the national education framework. The Congress leader highlighted the recent 'Echo of Students' rally in Kota as evidence of widespread youth frustration demanding structural reform.
Beyond education, Pilot attacked the state government’s handling of the Pachana Dam dispute, labeling the two-and-a-half-year delay in resolution a failure of leadership. He urged officials to mediate between stakeholders to prevent communal tensions. Regarding the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, he demanded an end to the current interview-based recruitment model, alleging that political pressure undermines meritocracy. Finally, he dismissed reports of opposition MPs defecting to the NDA as a tactical maneuver by the BJP to manipulate parliamentary math and force through legislation without consensus.
