Rajbhar links SP leadership to CBI probes ahead of 2027 polls

Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar claims that a recent letter from Ram Gopal Yadav to Union Home Minister Amit Shah contains details already embedded in CBI investigations targeting former minister Gayatri Prajapati and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, describing the move as a desperate attempt to deflect legal pressure.

Rajbhar links SP leadership to CBI probes ahead of 2027 polls

The SBSP chief alleged that the Samajwadi Party is maneuvering to protect its leadership as multiple family members, including those connected to the Gomti River Front case, face scrutiny. Rajbhar dismissed the party's recent internal messaging as a survival tactic, suggesting that the organization is nearing a point of collapse. He pointed to the shifting allegiances among rank-and-file members as evidence that Akhilesh Yadav is losing control over his own caucus.

Contradicting the SP chief’s narrative that the BJP is poaching lawmakers, Rajbhar argued that a mass exodus is imminent. He claimed that beyond a small circle of family loyalists, the party’s base is preparing to abandon the leadership. This rhetoric signals a sharpening conflict in Uttar Pradesh, where both camps are bracing for a significant political realignment before the 2027 Assembly elections.
