The meeting brought together all nine Lok Sabha MPs, including Arvind Sawant and Anil Desai, to address concerns surrounding the so-called Operation Tiger. Raut remained defiant regarding attempts to weaken the party, dismissing claims that the faction led by Eknath Shinde represents the original Shiv Sena. “The original Shiv Sena is here,” he asserted, emphasizing that the party identity remains tied to the Thackeray name.
Addressing allegations of political intimidation through agencies like the ED and CBI, Raut challenged those attempting to engineer defections. He stated that party members are prepared to face imprisonment if necessary, but only after confronting those undermining the democratic process. Despite the external pressure, the mood among the leadership remained focused on unity, with Arvind Sawant signaling confidence in the party's cohesion as they navigate the current parliamentary session.
