Rajbhar, an ally of the state government, has intensified the pressure by predicting an imminent split within the opposition ranks. He suggests that a faction of dissident MPs will soon emerge, potentially led by a figure from Ballia, a region he describes as the 'Rebel Land.' According to Rajbhar, recent internal friction, including an alleged slight against Brahmin leaders during a party conference, has accelerated the desire among several lawmakers to abandon the Samajwadi Party leadership.
In response to these claims, Rajbhar publicly mocked Akhilesh Yadav’s current strategy, suggesting the party chief pivot from social media engagement to a 'Save Our MPs' campaign to prevent an exodus. He argues that Yadav should visit the homes of his discontented colleagues to offer apologies rather than relying on digital optics to hold his organization together.
Samajwadi Party leadership has dismissed the allegations as baseless political maneuvering designed to deflect public attention from the current administration’s failures. Despite the denials, the situation mirrors broader instability currently reported across other regional parties, keeping the political climate in Uttar Pradesh volatile as the state looks toward the 2027 assembly cycle.
