Yoshitha Rajapaksa granted bail following bribery commission arrest
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery and Corruption arrested Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, on Wednesday. Following his appearance at the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court, the younger Rajapaksa was released on bail as authorities continue scrutinizing his controversial 2006 entry into the Sri Lankan Navy.
