Akhilesh Yadav dismisses Rajbhar’s claims of SP split

Beyond the verbal sparring, Yadav is pivoting toward the 2027 assembly elections, specifically targeting the BJP’s stronghold in Gorakhpur. During a press conference in Lucknow, he vowed to dismantle the ruling party's influence in the region, asserting that the party aims to reduce the BJP's electoral standing to zero.

Yadav launched a blistering critique of the local administration, claiming that 500 primary schools have been shuttered in Gorakhpur since 2017. He alleged that the government has systematically eroded public services, including the closure of 1,500 jobs and the degradation of health infrastructure, to push citizens toward private providers. Furthermore, he accused the administration of failing to maintain basic infrastructure, citing the poor condition of the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. Beyond local governance, Yadav alleged widespread corruption in land allocation and electoral practices, specifically pointing to irregularities in Ayodhya and the Kundarki assembly elections.
