KTR contends that despite repeated visits to the capital, Reddy has failed to advance the project, labeling the delay a consequence of the Chief Minister's political fragility. He specifically alleged that Reddy remains hesitant to confront Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming the administration is compromised by the lingering 'cash-for-vote' scandal.
Beyond political maneuvering, the BRS leader charged the state government with deprioritizing transit infrastructure in favor of projects that lack public utility. He warned that undermining the Metro expansion threatens to erode investor confidence in the region, while demanding that the administration provide a clear, transparent timeline for the Phase-II rollout.
