Thomas Isaac Dismisses Collusion Claims over Sabarimala

The accusation that the CPI(M) struck a clandestine deal with the BJP regarding the Sabarimala pilgrimage site is an outright fabrication, according to party veteran Thomas Isaac. Speaking in Thrissur on Sunday, the former minister dismantled claims brought forward by the Congress party, labeling the narrative entirely groundless.

Isaac defended the state’s current administrative approach, noting that temple management in southern Kerala has operated under a distinct government department since the colonial era. He emphasized that the administration's primary focus remains the expansion of infrastructure and the enhancement of pilgrim facilities at the site.

Shifting the focus back to his political rivals, Isaac alleged that the BJP actually funneled its support toward United Democratic Front candidates in specific constituencies. He urged political actors to maintain integrity in their public discourse, warning that unfounded allegations only serve to manufacture confusion among the electorate.
