Health Minister Praful Pansheriya announced the state's initiative to construct two memorial sites at the crash location. These structures, designated as Vidya Mandir and Aarogya Mandir, serve as permanent tributes to those lost in the disaster. The crash, which occurred in 2025, remains a deep scar on the region, killing 229 passengers, 12 crew members, and 19 people on the ground.

Boeing issued a formal statement alongside the memorial events, expressing continued cooperation with the ongoing investigation into the incident. The anniversary brought together government officials and families affected by the flight’s sudden demise, reinforcing the lasting impact the event holds for both the local community and the aviation industry.
