MP Sanjay Kumar Jha publicly lauded the nomination, highlighting Kumar’s track record in the Health Department as a catalyst for his expanded role in future party operations. Beyond the Patna seat, the JD(U) confirmed Bharti Mehta for Madhubani, Shivrani Devi Prajapati for West Champaran, and Lalan Prasad for the Sheikhpura by-election.
