Wanted Gangsters Himanshu Bhau and Neeraj Faridpuria Arrested in US

Las Vegas police, acting on intelligence provided by the Haryana Special Task Force, apprehended two of India's most wanted fugitives on October 22. Himanshu Bhau and Neeraj Faridpuria, both central figures in a sprawling network of extortion and murder cases, were taken into custody with the support of US immigration authorities.

Himanshu Bhau, born Himanshu Ritoliya, had successfully evaded capture by using a passport issued under the alias Himanshu Sigroha. A rival of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Bhau faced numerous charges across Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh, prompting the issuance of an Interpol notice. Investigators believe he coordinated his criminal operations from abroad, with suspected ties to gangs led by Neeraj Bawana and Naveen Bali.

Neeraj Faridpuria, a Palwal native with over 25 criminal cases against him, had a history of violent encounters with Indian law enforcement. After being granted bail in 2019 regarding a murder conviction, he fled to Canada before eventually relocating to the United States. Authorities link him to the Bambiha gang and suspect his involvement in several high-profile shootings, including an attack near the residence of influencer Elvish Yadav. The Haryana Special Task Force is currently coordinating with central agencies and their American counterparts to finalize the deportation process.
