Klaus Wellershoff Launches Turiq to Automate Investment Communication

Klaus Wellershoff, founder of Wellershoff & Partners, has teamed up with ETH Zurich computer science students Ryan Fuchs and Boris Kantor to launch Turiq AG. Based in Zurich, the startup aims to deploy an AI-driven platform designed to streamline market analysis and client reporting within the financial sector.

The project originated at a September 2025 hackathon during Swiss AI Weeks in St. Gallen, where Fuchs and Kantor built a prototype capable of identifying market-relevant news in under 36 hours. Following this success, the team developed a platform intended to synthesize external market data with proprietary portfolio information. The software is currently undergoing a year-long trial within Wellershoff & Partners to refine its utility for CIO offices and investment teams.

Under the new structure, Fuchs serves as CEO overseeing product development, while Kantor leads the technical architecture as CTO. The platform emphasizes user control, allowing financial institutions to define specific information sources and classification criteria. To address industry security concerns, the developers confirmed that client data remains isolated and is not utilized to train the underlying AI models. By automating the flow from initial market monitoring to final client communication, the founders intend to shift the focus of investment professionals back toward strategic decision-making.
