Francis Hoefman will join Julius Baer as Chief Human Resources Officer on January 11, 2027, transitioning from a long-term career in the consumer goods sector. She fills the vacancy left by Guido Ruoss, who is departing the Swiss wealth manager following an eighteen-year tenure at the firm.

Hoefman joins the Global Wealth Management Committee with two decades of experience in corporate strategy and organizational development. During her nearly fourteen-year stint at British consumer goods firm Reckitt, she oversaw a global HR organization of 500 specialists, focusing on talent development and research-driven human resources agendas. Her previous professional background includes roles at H.J. Heinz and Mars Inc., alongside an early career position representing Philips executives.

CEO Stefan Bollinger noted the firm prioritized leadership expertise over industry-specific background, seeking a candidate capable of fostering high-performance cultures. Hoefman is expected to refine the bank's internal people strategy and strengthen its appeal to top-tier financial talent. Her appointment marks a shift toward integrating external management methodologies into the bank's traditional wealth advisory framework.
