The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed the move to the facility located south of Williamsport but declined to comment on specific security conditions. Combs, 56, is currently serving a four-year, two-month sentence for transporting individuals across state lines for sexual encounters. His spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, stated that the mogul remains focused on moving forward and expects the new placement to be free of further disruption.
Controversy mounted last month when reports surfaced alleging that Combs smuggled alcohol, utilized contraband cellphones to access social media, and coerced fellow inmates into performing domestic chores and massages. Following these claims, officials moved him to a special housing unit for disciplinary reasons. Authorities also rescinded 41 days of good-conduct credit, extending his projected release date to March 2, 2028. While rumors circulated regarding a physical altercation involving the inmate, the Bureau of Prisons officially refuted those claims. His legal team continues to pursue an appeal in the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, seeking to overturn the conviction on the grounds that the initial sentencing was excessively harsh.
