Adityanath alleged that the previous Samajwadi Party government institutionalized extortion, claiming an "uncle-nephew" duo would solicit bribes whenever job advertisements were released. He argued that students faced systemic bias, with appointment letters frequently awarded to candidates who never sat for examinations. The Chief Minister asserted that his current administration has reversed this trend, citing the delivery of nine lakh jobs across two terms, with plans to employ an additional one lakh youths over the coming six months.
Beyond employment, the Chief Minister addressed the state's security climate. He claimed that the mafia, which previously held sway over administration and judiciary in Prayagraj, has been "reduced to dust" under his governance. According to Adityanath, land recovered from illegal encroachment by figures like Atiq and Ashraf is now being repurposed for housing projects for the poor. During his visit, he laid the foundation stone for a 600-flat development, underscoring his promise to reclaim assets from those who previously occupied public and private land.
