Gupta suggested that the opposition’s fixation on her activities stems from a lack of genuine policy agendas. She challenged her detractors to shadow her official engagements if they are so intent on monitoring her, arguing that they ignore the government’s performance in favor of manufactured controversy. The Chief Minister further pivoted to the situation in Punjab, citing a rise in violent crime, suicides, and drug trade activity as the issues that should rightfully demand the opposition's focus.
Her comments followed a recent appearance at a Ramlila event organized by the Sanatan Sanskaaram Parivar at the DDA Ramlila Ground. Accompanied by Art and Culture Minister Kapil Mishra and Cabinet Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh, Gupta emphasized the importance of preserving traditional values. She framed the annual Ramlila celebrations as a vital cultural touchstone, asserting that the victory of good over evil remains a central pillar of the city's social identity.
