Yadav alleged that the Election Commission operates under the influence of the ruling party to undermine the democratic process. He highlighted the role of the party’s 'PDA Praharis'—a group representing Pichhda, Dalit, and Alpsankhyak communities—in exposing attempts to tamper with electoral rolls. According to the SP leader, these activists uncovered a specific incident in the Sarojini Nagar constituency where a man named Dashrath allegedly submitted over 100 Form 7 applications to delete voters, a complaint the poll panel eventually acknowledged as valid.
The SP chief further questioned the transparency of the voter registration process. He noted that while 87.56 lakh Form 6 applications were submitted, the Election Commission disclosed data for only 71.38 lakh, leaving the status of over 16 lakh applications opaque. Yadav argued that these irregularities are desperate measures taken by a weakening BJP. He maintained that the growth of his PDA alliance is fueled by the public's rising frustration with the current administration's policies, asserting that no amount of bureaucratic interference can halt the coalition's expansion.
