BJP and Shiv Sena target CJP over alleged foreign funding

BJP MLA Ram Kadam and Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC launched a coordinated offensive against the opposition on Thursday, dismissing Rahul Gandhi’s claims of electoral theft while leveling serious accusations of foreign financial influence against the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP).

Ram Kadam characterized Gandhi’s rhetoric as a diversionary tactic, arguing that the public has already rejected the opposition’s narrative. He questioned the motives behind opposition visits to the judiciary, suggesting their true goal is to protect ineligible names on electoral rolls. Kadam further alleged that international figures, including American performer Mary Millben, have identified U.S.-based entities providing financial support to the CJP. He warned that these actions mirror recent instability in neighboring nations, framing the opposition's strategy as an attempt to incite domestic chaos.

Shaina NC expanded on these concerns, specifically targeting the intersection of NGO funding and political activity. She suggested that the CJP must clarify the origins of its financial backing, questioning whether Western influence or figures like George Soros are involved in efforts to destabilize the current administration. According to the leaders, these allegations are not merely political disputes but represent a fundamental threat to national integrity that demands immediate accountability.
