The 23-second AI clip mimics the final moments of the fatal encounter, showing Trump pointing at the tiger just as Chapman did before the attack. Instead of the tragic outcome, the video portrays Trump overpowering the animal in a playful fight, set to the song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." This followed an earlier post on Trump’s account and the White House’s "Rapid Response 47" channel on X, which shared the actual footage of the attack with the caption, "Don't ever mess with nature!"
Social media users and political figures have condemned the posts as sickening and disrespectful to the grieving family of the victim, who was a known child actor. Influencer Harry Sisson labeled the president's decision to share the content as evidence of deteriorating judgment. While the White House account, which boasts 2.3 million followers, remains under scrutiny, the Yorkshire Wildlife Park continues to face the fallout of the tragedy, remaining closed for a fifth consecutive day as investigations into the incident proceed.
