Fadnavis dismissed the march as an anti-constitutional act, insisting that grievances must be settled through legal channels rather than political demonstrations. He argued that targeting the Chief Justice after he fulfilled his duties constitutes a calculated effort to demonize judicial institutions. According to the Maharashtra leader, the opposition’s behavior reflects a lack of faith in the foundational laws of the country.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma echoed these sentiments, labeling the protest a form of political blackmail. On social media, he accused Rahul Gandhi of selectively questioning electoral outcomes—accepting wins in Kerala while rejecting results in Assam. Sarma announced that the BJP will launch mass rallies across Assam through October 31 to counter what he described as attempts to shield illegal infiltrators and undermine the democratic mandate. The INDIA bloc, led by Rahul Gandhi, remains steadfast in its 'Challo Dilli' campaign, demanding greater transparency from the Election Commission despite the lack of judicial backing for their meeting request.
