Yadav’s allegations arrive as the INDIA bloc intensifies its pressure on the Election Commission. Opposition leaders are scheduled to march toward the Supreme Court to demand the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, citing systemic failures in maintaining the integrity of voter rolls. The protest has prompted a massive security mobilization in Central Delhi, where authorities have shuttered multiple metro stations and deployed Rapid Action and Central Reserve Police forces.
Speaking in Lucknow during a tribute to socialist leader Ram Manohar Lohia, Yadav framed the electoral dispute within a broader ideological struggle. He pledged to implement Lohia’s principles of socialist prosperity and equality, contrasting his party’s vision with the ruling BJP's conduct. While the SP chief prepares to release his documented evidence of voter fraud, the upcoming march signals a significant escalation in the ongoing standoff between the opposition alliance and the electoral oversight body.
