Reddy framed the upcoming electoral battle in mythological terms, casting the BJP as Ravan and the Congress as the force of righteousness. He warned that any support for smaller, emerging parties would inadvertently bolster the BJP, which he accused of fostering a culture of corruption and land dispossession in the state. He particularly criticized Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, labeling him 'Property Sawant' and alleging that the local administration has prioritized real estate interests over public welfare.
Beyond local politics, Reddy targeted the BJP’s record on law and order, specifically regarding drug trafficking. He claimed that Telangana’s anti-drug EAGLE force traced narcotics networks directly back to Goa, questioning why the state government has failed to curb the trade despite central backing. The Telangana leader also issued a broadside against the Union government, accusing the BJP of weaponizing the Election Commission and investigative agencies to suppress the voices of Dalits, Adivasis, and minorities. He concluded that the path to a Congress-led government at the national level must start with a decisive win in Goa, likening the political shift to the monsoon that travels from the coast to the capital.
