Khandu emphasized that the revision process is a procedural standard rather than a new initiative. He pointed out that similar exercises were conducted under previous Congress administrations, consistently earning local approval for the clarity they bring to voter registration. By eliminating discrepancies in the rolls, the state ensures that the democratic process remains functional and representative.
Beyond electoral policy, the state government recently marked a milestone for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, celebrating his 25 years in public service. Alongside Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, Khandu launched the Seva Jyoti Yatra and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha in the capital. These events, mirrored by ceremonies across district headquarters, served as a platform for the state leadership to credit the Prime Minister’s vision for the rapid infrastructure transformation currently reshaping Arunachal Pradesh and the wider Northeast.
