Motivational speaker Vivek Bindra and Delhi Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh inaugurated the festivities, which are scheduled to run through October 20. The opening evening centered on devotional bhajan performances, setting the stage for a series of theatrical depictions from the Ramayana, including the birth of Lord Shri Ram, Sita Swayamvar, and the climactic Lanka Dahan.
Addressing the crowd, Bindra likened the collective labor of the organizers to the construction of the Ram Setu, noting that every individual contribution remains vital to the success of a larger cultural mission. Minister Singh echoed these sentiments, framing the event as a necessary bridge to the younger generation. He emphasized that staging these narratives during Navratri serves to ground modern society in traditional values of compassion and moral integrity. The production promises a more elaborate presentation than previous years, with organizers focusing on high-impact staging to ensure the epic’s teachings resonate with attendees of all ages.
