During a strategy session at the BSP Central Camp Office, Mayawati directed officials to accelerate the reorganization of booth-level committees. She emphasized that the party must aggressively push to reinstate marginalized groups—including youth, women, and the poor—who appear to have been omitted from the Election Commission’s revised voter lists. The party maintains that safeguarding these constitutional rights remains a priority ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.
Beyond electoral mechanics, the BSP leadership criticized the BJP’s governing trajectory. Mayawati accused the administration of prioritizing the interests of wealthy industrialists and major capitalists over public welfare. She argued that the influence of concentrated financial power in politics is a central issue for the upcoming campaign. Because of these concerns, the party has opted to centralize tribute events in Lucknow, moving away from the Bahujan Inspiration Centre on the Delhi-UP border to prevent logistical risks during the Parinirvan Diwas observances.
