Nabin, joined by Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, emphasized that physical limitations do not define an individual’s potential. He argued that with proper platforms, these athletes prove that disability is merely a state of mind, urging a broader societal shift toward inclusivity. The tournament aims to foster self-discipline and confidence, serving as more than a competition but a vehicle for national recognition.
Organizing committee chairman Siddharth Singh noted that teams from across India will travel to Varanasi, turning the city into a hub for inclusive sports. All India Disabled Cricket Association President Uttam Ojha briefed leadership on the tournament’s logistical preparations, ensuring the event provides a professional stage for talent to shine. By bringing national-level players together, organizers intend to demonstrate that sports can effectively dismantle barriers and redefine public perception of disability.
