Congress leader Mettu Sai Kumar framed the protest as a direct challenge to the BJP’s governing record, accusing both the ruling party and the RSS of undermining the Constitution to serve narrow political interests. He asserted that the INDIA bloc remains committed to ongoing demonstrations until the Election Commission addresses their grievances regarding electoral integrity.
Adding to the pressure, Danam Nagender criticized the police handling of MPs who recently attempted to approach the Commission, describing the incident as an affront to peaceful dissent. General secretary KC Venugopal characterized the current political climate as a "do-or-die" battle, explicitly naming Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah alongside Gyanesh Kumar as architects of institutional instability. The party maintains that these protests are essential to safeguarding the voting rights of the Indian public.
