Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge fueled the protest atmosphere by accusing BJP leaders of orchestrating fraudulent voter deletions. Kharge alleged that local officials and party members have been filing false Form 7 applications, effectively declaring living citizens dead to remove them from electoral rolls. He pointedly questioned the whereabouts of Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, asking if he was avoiding public accountability.
Building on the momentum of the Bengaluru rally, the CJP plans a youth-led protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on October 10. Spokesperson Saurav Das confirmed that the party has notified the Delhi Police, anticipating a nationwide turnout of young voters concerned about the alleged hijacking of electoral integrity. Meanwhile, Congress general secretary KC Venugopal characterized the broader political climate as a "do-or-die" struggle, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah of fostering anarchy by undermining the sanctity of the voter registration process.
