Nitin Nabin marks Narendra Modi’s 25-year tenure in public office

Amidst the cheers of supporters at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, BJP National President Nitin Nabin lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday for completing a quarter-century in government. He framed the milestone as a testament to a career defined by persistent struggle and an unwavering commitment to public service.

Nabin addressed the "Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha - Sewa Jyoti Yatra" in the national capital, characterizing the Prime Minister’s tenure as a journey of "penance, dedication, and determination." He argued that Modi, unlike political predecessors who benefited from established dynasties or internal party appointments, ascended to power solely through the strength of the public mandate. According to Nabin, this trajectory reflects a leader who utilized political office exclusively as a mechanism for national development rather than personal gain.

The tribute also emphasized the cultural dimension of Modi’s leadership. Nabin pointed to the restoration of heritage sites, including the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, the Mahakal Corridor, and the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, as evidence of a broader mission to revive centers of faith. Since beginning his administrative career as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, Modi has maintained a continuous presence at the helm of government, transitioning to the federal level in 2014 to serve three consecutive terms as Prime Minister.
