Telangana CM orders probe into 45 missing acres in Siddipet

A 45-acre discrepancy in the land records of Erravalli village has triggered a government investigation ordered by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The missing land, part of Survey No. 325 in Siddipet district, was identified during a recent review, prompting the state to seek revenue documentation from neighboring landowners, including the family of former CM K Chandrashekar Rao.

The state government intends to redistribute the available land in Survey No. 325 to local farmers and establish a dedicated colony for families of those who died during the Telangana movement. Officials have been instructed to finalize the Martyrs' Colony housing project by June 2 under the supervision of the Housing Department.

Separately, the Chief Minister utilized the platform to denounce the recent detention of opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Drawing parallels to British-era arrests of independence activists, he characterized the current political climate as a test of democratic resilience. He maintained that the government’s actions against the opposition would not weaken their resolve, but rather galvanize their efforts to protect constitutional rights.
