The BRS working president leveled these accusations following the arrest of party leader Manne Krishank. According to Rama Rao, Krishank was detained specifically for exposing alleged corruption involving the Anumula family, despite providing what he described as substantive evidence. He further dismissed Gandhi’s recent claims of electoral theft, turning the narrative back on the Congress leadership by labeling Chief Minister Revanth Reddy the original perpetrator of vote-for-note schemes.
Rama Rao demanded that Gandhi exert control over his political protégé, asserting that the current state of affairs makes a mockery of the Indian Constitution. This confrontation marks a deepening rift between the two parties, exacerbated by the wider national tensions surrounding the INDIA bloc’s recent protests against the Election Commission. While the opposition coalition continues its 'Save Democracy' campaign in Delhi, the local battle in Telangana remains focused on the perceived collapse of administrative integrity.
