Vidyasagar Sonkar, reflecting on his political trajectory from booth-level management to state-level engagement, pledged to continue his focus on the party’s core agendas of social harmony and the welfare of vulnerable populations under the current leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He characterized his selection as an opportunity to further the party's reach among marginalized communities.
Prakash Pal marked his nomination as a significant milestone, crediting the national and state leadership for their confidence in his service. Prior to his formal filing, Pal planned a visit to a local Hanuman temple to seek guidance for his new parliamentary responsibilities. The nomination process in Lucknow draws a heavy presence from the state's top brass, with Chief Minister Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, and State President Pankaj Chaudhary expected to accompany the candidates. The full slate of eight nominees includes Dharampal Singh, Ram Pratap Singh, Priyanka Rawat, Radhakant Ojha, Gopikrishna Pandey, and Shruti Gangwar, alongside Sonkar and Pal.
