Communist Party of India General Secretary D Raja threw his weight behind the demonstration, describing the rally as an inspiring reflection of widespread public frustration. Raja insisted that Kumar ignores the concerns of the electorate and must step down to restore faith in the democratic process. He emphasized that the agitation is no longer confined to Delhi, signaling a broader mobilization of political and social forces against the current leadership of the Election Commission.
Uddhav Thackeray framed the march as a direct challenge to what he termed a dictatorial assault on voter rights. He alleged that 130 million citizens have been purged from electoral rolls nationwide, with notable exclusions occurring in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, Raj Thackeray demanded a complete cancellation of the Special Intensive Revision exercise in Maharashtra. He further urged national opposition parties to coalesce in Delhi to push for the abandonment of electronic voting machines in favor of traditional paper ballots, citing deep-seated distrust in the existing system.
