Darekar characterized the turnout at Shivaji Park as a rejection of what he termed a rebellious tendency. He noted that the absence of leaders from Shiv Sena (UBT) and MNS signaled a lack of broad political alignment, suggesting the participants were limited to a small group with specific ideological leanings. He publicly thanked the city's population for their perceived indifference toward the agitation.
The demonstration, focused on alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision exercise, resulted in legal action against the organizers. Mumbai Police confirmed the registration of an FIR at the Shivaji Park station against CJP leadership and an estimated 400 to 500 supporters. Charges were filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Maharashtra Police Act, marking a swift escalation following the gathering.
