The gathering introduced national vice-president Ram Madhav as the new state in-charge, alongside co-in-charges Arvind Menon and Bansuri Swaraj. Dhami emphasized that the appointment of these figures, each bringing distinct experience from national and legal spheres, is expected to revitalize the party’s grassroots structure. He specifically lauded Madhav’s extensive background in diverse regions, from Jammu and Kashmir to the northeast, as a critical asset for the state unit.
Beyond organizational strategy, the Chief Minister addressed growing friction with the Congress party regarding electoral roll revisions. Dismissing opposition claims of irregularities in vote deletions as baseless, Dhami maintained that the process follows established constitutional protocols that have remained consistent for years. He further criticized the opposition for casting doubt on democratic institutions, including the judiciary and the Election Commission, while specifically denouncing recent disparaging remarks directed at National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the late General Bipin Rawat. Dhami characterized these opposition tactics as a desperate attempt to manufacture false narratives following a decline in their electoral influence.
