The Indian contingent features a broad cross-section of legislators, including Anurag Singh Thakur, Aparajita Sarangi, Sasmit Patra, Sanjay Jaiswal, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Lata Wankhede, Bijuli Kalita Medhi, and N. K. Premachandran. Over the five-day event, the delegation plans to weigh in on critical global agendas, ranging from the integration of artificial intelligence into the workforce to maritime security and the preservation of mountain ecosystems.

Beyond general debates, Harivansh is slated to represent India within the Governing Council and participate in the selection process for the next IPU President. The assembly sessions cover a sprawling list of modern challenges, including mental health, counter-terrorism, and the management of critical minerals. This diplomatic mission reinforces India’s ongoing commitment to multilateral parliamentary cooperation and its active role in shaping international responses to sustainable development and human rights.
