The introductory sessions, led by Uttarakhand in-charge Ram Madhav and co-in-charge Arvind Menon, brought together state office-bearers, district presidents, and ministers to streamline campaign objectives. Swaraj dismissed concerns regarding seat fluctuations in previous cycles, framing the electoral outcome as the collective will of voters rooted in the state’s nationalist and religious identity. She emphasized that the party remains focused on the development models championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Beyond electoral mechanics, the party is leveraging infrastructure milestones to bolster its campaign narrative. Swaraj highlighted the recently operationalized Delhi-Dehradun expressway, a 12,000-crore project that reduced transit time between the two cities from six hours to two and a half. While promoting this connectivity, she also cautioned against digital fragmentation, warning that social media algorithms are being weaponized to divide the Indian youth into arbitrary generational labels. The BJP currently holds 47 of the 70 seats in the state assembly.
