Madhya Pradesh Deputy CM accuses Rahul Gandhi of political opportunism

Shukla asserted that the BJP government has successfully transformed Balaghat from a Naxal-affected zone into a secure region, enabling the state to extend vital healthcare and civic services to remote areas. He highlighted that the administration has achieved full coverage for vaccinations and essential medicine distribution, while bolstering the local workforce with additional Child Development Project Officers and ASHA workers. The Deputy CM dismissed claims of systemic health failure, explaining that previous Naxalite presence had hindered access to the most isolated villages.

Beyond the local crisis, the Deputy CM attacked the broader strategy of the Congress party, accusing Gandhi of spreading misinformation to manufacture political narratives. He defended the state’s progress by pointing to the recent deployment of over 3,100 bonded doctors across Primary Health Centres. According to Shukla, this initiative directly addresses the historic shortage of medical professionals and ensures that populations of up to 30,000 residents per center gain access to consistent diagnostics, specialist telemedicine, and essential treatment.
